Day 1 Hanoi – Ha Long Bay

Travel through the rice fields towards Ha Long Bay where you will take a cruise, and maybe even a swim, around towering limestone formations, before enjoying a delicious seafood lunch. Drop anchor and stay overnight on the calm waters.

Day 2 Ha Long Bay – Boat Cruise – Hanoi

Enjoy a morning cruise back through the emerald waters of the bay, before disembarking and travelling back to Hanoi, stopping en route at a ceramics factory.

Optional: Water puppet show at the village- From Ha Long Bay; take a small scenic drive to a local village where you can experience a traditional water puppets show along with the chance to sample some local delicacies.

Day 1 Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park

Drive to Bong Station, stopping at the Cave of Prehistoric Man, an awe-inspiring archaeological site. Stroll through the National Park and experience all of the wonders that nature has to offer. Stay overnight in Cuc Phuong.

Day 2 Cuc Phuong National Park – Hanoi

Wake up to the sights and sounds of rural Vietnam before visiting the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre and learning about the lives of these amazing animals. Take a 7km hike to see the incredible ‘Big Tree’ and a dinosaur fossil that dates back over 200million years.

► City tour of Hanoi by old Vespa

Experience life in Hanoi from the back of a Vespa. Your local guide will answer all your questions and even stop off at interesting landmarks, shops and markets. Finish the day at the Minh’s Ethnic Gallery where you will learn about the changing face of Vietnam.

► Countryside Cycling Tour

With the knowledge of an experienced cycle guide, enjoy a gentle 15km ride towards Dong Ho village and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Explore local villages and rice fields and take some memorable photos along the way. This 3 hour trip is full of stories, history and unforgettable sights.

► Water Puppet Show with Dinner

This traditional 11th century art form, native to Vietnam, will entertain you with a performance by semi-submerged puppeteers dramatising stories of daily life. Dinner is then served at a local restaurant where you can sample delicious Asian cuisine.

City tour of Saigon by old Vespa

Begin at the City Central Park and ride through the old streets of Saigon and the new affluent areas of the city. Stop at a temple before visiting China Town to sample local delicacies and then finish the day at the largest rice market in Vietnam, founded by the Chinese in the 18th century.

► Cai Be Floating Market and Vinh Long

Meet local families, farmers and merchants at the floating market on the Mekong Delta, before enjoying a rustic lunch at a local house on one of the islands. Continue on to Vinh Long by boat and finish your day with a scenic drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

► Museums of Ho Chi Minh City

Learn about the history of Vietnam with this insightful tour of 3 fantastic museums. Visit the War Remnants Museum and its collection of war memorabilia, from US armoured vehicles to bombs and weaponry. Examine the cultural shifts and evolution of Vietnam itself at the History Museum and appreciate rare collections of revolutionary art at the awe-inspiring Art Museum.

Cu Chi Tunnels

Relics of past conflicts, the Cu Chi Tunnels were built to organise guerrilla style attacks against the French and were also used during the Vietnam War. The tunnels comprise over 200km of subterraneous complexes including kitchens, hospitals, sleeping quarters and even schools.
