I have heard some Caribbean islands have better safety than others when it comes to scuba diving. I would love to go on a week’s diving in the area, but would like advice on which islands and operators are the most safety-conscious.

Scuba diving in the Caribbean is one of the best experiences in the world but the most important thing is for the diving resort to be a certified PADI centre – the world renowned certification for diving. One of my favourite diving destinations is Grenada because it is regarded as the wreck diving capital of the Caribbean. Most of the diving takes place in the south west of the island but new dive sites have recently been found off Grenada’s north coast.
